Out of School Club

Our purpose built Out of School Club caters for children from starting in Reception right through to the end of Year 6. Children have access to a variety of different areas, these include a computer room with a PC, a games room with full sized Table tennis, a Wii and an Xbox, a creative area and a wide range of toys and games. We also have a quiet room where children can go to relax after a busy day at school!

Breakfast club opens at 7:30am and children are welcome to arrive at any time up until we leave for school, a range of hot and cold breakfasts are available these include Cereals, Toast, Sausage sandwiches and Beans on toast. The children have time to play or catch up on homework/reading before we take them to school on one of our minibuses.

After school we collect the children and bring them back to the Out of School Club, children then have the freedom to do activities of their choosing, some like to get involved in the adult led activities, some like to play outside in the garden (weather permitting!!) and some just like to kick back and chill. We offer children a snack when they come in from school and we also have a hot meal that can be ordered for an additional charge. After school club is open until 6:00pm.

Throughout the school holidays we offer a Holiday Club for children, we have lots of activities available to the children around our “Theme” of the week as well as all our usual activities, equipment and games.

 

Victoria is the supervisor in the Out of School Club and has worked at nursery since 2015, she has lots of experience of working with children and their families and is also our Safeguarding Lead Practitioner.

 

Emma He is an Out of School Club practitioner, she has worked at nursery since 2020 and has lots of experience working with children. Emma also works in other rooms within the nursery.

Krissy is an Out of School Club practitioner, she has worked at nursery since 2019.
